Going Live
I started my business a year ago, selling my products at local Craft Fairs and Christmas Markets. I am delighted that one year on I now have my own online shop.
It feels like it's just the start, I have so many product ideas that I'd like to test out and a lovely stock of fabric with which to do it. The months when we were in tight lockdown seemed to go quite slowly but now that we are in October it feels like Christmas is just round the corner and I will need to focus on getting those Christmas Gift ideas made.
I've had great fun over the year sourcing lovely fabrics both vintage and new and I've benefited from the generosity of kind friends who have given me some of their fabric stashes, helped with cutting fabric, acted as models and have been willing a sounding boards when needed.
I've had ups and downs like everyone but reigniting my passion for textiles and craft has helped me cope with grief.
The best feedback of course comes from customers, it's such a joy creating beautiful things for such lovely people and finding out they love them too. The help and feedback I have received has spurred me on, so now I am hoping to make you love them too.
It would be great to get your feedback.

p.s. When I was in my twenties one of my work colleagues presented me with a card door hanger of Penny Parrot. He promised he'd bought it for me because it made him smile, not because I talk too much. It has always made me smile.
